I received a request from one of  the young patients through my friend, Dr. Robert B. Marcus Jr., an oncologist with the University of Florida Proton Therapy Institute. The young patient, Christian, wanted a story about Proton Gator. Dr. Marcus could not tell me anymore about the character than that. Proton Gator glows. The other animals in the swamp don't like his glow at night. After Proton's neighbors make him leave the swamp, he meets Christian. The two become fast friends and meet every day. Christian likes Proton's glow. One day Christian disappears. Proton decides to go find his friend and locates him in the special hospital. There, Proton shows his true friendship.

THE FAIRY COLLECTION
Written in 2012. It had been requested of me to write a short story for a youngster who enjoyed fairy stories. After writing one, I got the bug to continue. Talented artists were eager for me to use their artwork as covers for the stories. Things just bloomed from there.
